If Calder Clay didn't run an inept campaign he might have had a chance against the Marshall of the Soviet Union.

What is re-redistricting going to do with the demographics of his district? I probably need to see a map of the changes made after the Democrats gerrymandered us. Of course Macon, in the heart of it, has the "gimme gimme take take take" crowd so I hope we don't have to share with the Democrat-voting freeloaders.

Dear Kat,

The media destroyed Calder Clay, and so did the gerry mandering. I also believe that the election did not pass the smell test. A person does not come within 1% of winning the first time, and then only garner 30% of the vote in the next election. That is why it is so important for the voter ID bill to pass, which will no doubt be decided in the US Supreme Court. It is ridiculous for the Democrats to call identification a poll tax. Heck the biggest poll tax we have in Georgia is the SPLOST that relieves property owners of property taxes, and shifts the tax burden to renters (41% of Citizens in Bibb County are renters). Now this is a POLL TAX, but the DEMOCRATS DO NOT CARE BECAUSE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING ELECTED. The Constituents are not what is important. Of course, the Republicans are just as guilty of just caring about getting elected. That is the game!
