THIS IS CLASSIC NEOGOTHIC ART AND RELIGION!

This "gem" of the NeoGothic style by the Bresser-Blanchaert studios is an epitaph of the family of Helias d'Huddeghem designed by J-B Bethune on the north wall of the Holy Cross Church of Heusden. It is a memorial in the Gothic style made of traditional materials in 1867 and executed with refined technical skill. The framed figures on the left were exquisitely sculpted by Leopold Blanchaert in French 'whitestone' and then polychromed by Adriaan Hubert Bressers. The scene represents the Resurrection of Christ, placed in a NeoGothic framework from the studio of Leonard Blanchaert and inserted in a pointed arch ('spitsboog') with pinnacles, each with a winged dragon, decorated with acanthus leaves ('hogels') and topped by a 'kruisbloem', all standing on a console decorated with clusters of grapes. A white scroll in Gothic script sbelow th figures says that this memorial of the deaths of Robert Helias d'Huddeghem and his spouse Angelica van der Brugghen was erected by their son Robert Maria Helias d'Huddeghem. The beauty of the sculpturing by Leopold Blanchaert and the polychrome finishing by Adriaan Bressers is shown in an enlarged part of the picture . However, in contrast the elegant workmanship of this epitaph, others, less costly because made from a casting ('gietform') , were offered in their catalog as ('moulées sur modèles parfaitement achevés'). An example of such work can be seen in the same church.

Do we not have art councils and preservation councils funded by tax money to preserve our historic places in the United States? Why, why, why is a bunch of satanic freaks allowed to purchase an historic church such as the one below in New York City????????????????
Satanic freaks, Goth freaks, whatever you call them are involved in many of the terrible crimes committed: Ted Bundy, the Columbine killers, Pamela Vitale's killer, the Manson Massacres, the 40 plus year old that just killed the 17 year old a couple of weeks ago, I suppose Jeffrey Donner, and who knows else! Our family recently went to a movie at Amstar in Macon, the same weekend "The Skeleton Key" was playing. We witnessed some Goth teenagers with dog collars attached to one another by chains with their black lipstick and ghoulish looks. I said to one of them, "wow, now don't you look cute." I just got a blank mindless looking stare. I thought where in the "devil" are their parents? And devil is the right term.

It is BLASPHEMY AND SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW! HELL, WE HAVE A LAW FOR EVERYTHING ELSE, DON'T WE? I NORMALLY WOULD NOT WRITE A CURSE WORD, BUT I AM ANGRY, VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS!
