AN HONEST PAN HANDLER IS BETTER THAN A DISHONEST POLITICIAN


This was just too funny to pass up, since we are discussing passing a panhandling ordinance in the City of Macon, after a similar ordinance was passed in Atlanta.

Heavens to Betsy let's get to work on SOME form of ordinance dealing with panhandlers. There is no reason not to pass an ordinance despite Mike Cranford's claim that we're limited in what we can ban.

Yes, you are correct. I walked from the court house to Security Bank around lunch time last month, and I had three people hollering from across the street to give them some mony. I just walked faster, and prayed that they would not cross the street.
