"ONE TIN SOLDIER"

PART OF LYRICS:

"Go ahead and hate your neighbor. Go ahead and cheat your friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, you can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing, come the judgement day. On the bloody morning after, one tin soldier rides away."

We have over 200 Baptist churches in Bibb County, if I heard Kenny B. correctly on 940 talk radio, and we have many people obviously that attend church. The question is then, why are the churches not standing up against the exploitation of the poor people in this County?

Some may say, wow this writer sounds like a liberal. But the fact of the matter is you can be a conservative and see that the government is so big and corrupt that is detrimental to society and creates more poverty. The government hand out programs have turned into hand out programs to the people that manage these programs. Perfect example, there is no money whatsoever to help anyone that is in our town that is evacuated from the hurricane areas, save for the charitable organizations. The City has no money to help anyone, and the Mayor is just relying on FEMA to reimburse all of the expenses. Sad is it not? But in reality, we are robbed every day by a government that is like a drug addict. The more the government taxes, the more they spend and soon it crumbles from mismanagement.
