VIEWPOINT LETTER ABOUT MILLION MORE MOVEMENT

Dear Viewpoints,

This letter is written in response to the View Points letter written by Clarence Thomas that praises the movement by Mr. Farrakhan, Nation of Islam leader, and talks about the historic march on the Washington Mall in 1995. I was no doubt one of the few people that watched this so-called historic speech, and all I got out of it was an anti-white message that was delivered to the masses in attendance.

Just this week, I heard Farrakhan call FEMA and the Red Cross "white", and called for the Red Cross to be done away. All one has to do is take a microscipic look at New Orleans' black poverty areas, and see that this Million Man March in Washington DC ten years ago did very little to help the condition of their brothers and sisters. You see, Mr. Thomas it is tax dollars out of white families budgets that is helping to fund all of the entitlement programs in the United States, which by the way includes FEMA. The Red Cross helps people of all races and cultures, and much of its funding comes from people such as myself.

I see Louis Farrakhan and his movement as a destructive force in American Society, and I would hope that his blind followers would wake from their brain-washed state of mind and realize that America is great because of a melting pot philosophy. The Millions More Movement is divisive to those of us that are on the outside looking in.

Please see the Macon Telegraph Viewpoints letter "Millions More Movement" written by Clarence Thomas (Macon local organizing committee). The preceding is a copy of a letter that I emailed in response.
